well iv dropped the tank down tonight and i cant see any problem with it at all..... so i just removed the filler neck and then put it back on again... and then strapped the tank back up. hopefully thats all it was :meh: anyway iv put the polly bushes in the rear beam, i'l take a photo of that when i go back down now it looks sweeeeeeeeet 8) and i bought some goodridge stainless braided hoses off ebay tonight of someone who was selling a brand new set of four, and i managed to get him to sell and post them for £25 :D so thats an amazing bargain!! so while im at it i might as well put them on :D

and thats about it so far. oh i also loosened the bolts for the rear beam aswell, and for the suspension struts on the rear so thats pretty much ready to drop off apart from the brake lines.

and now with springs out, and even more arch work and other modifications ;) and how far iv managed to get it to sit without any arch scrub

bearing in mind this is not how it will be sitting, but this is only how far i have managed to make it sit without any arch scrubbing. i still have to wait until my 80mm springs arrive, and then i can carry on welding and modifying the rear beam and arches to take the 17" alloys.

can get it like that :o it is like that 8) they're 205 wide aswell, all i need now are the 80mm springs, which should be in the post, and then just got to cut off one of the bump stops on my rear shock, as they'v got a slieve already over them with about 4 or 5 bump stops so i'l have to size up and see how many i'l have to chop off. but yep :)

right, couple more updates, im still waiting for my 80mm springs to arrive :meh: so since then i kinda roughly worked out how low she should be sitting on the 17inch alloys, as the 80mm springs are about the same height at a coke can, so when compressed should be around 3inches. so i found some 3inch wood and put between the rear beam and the body and then i dropped it to the ground to get a rough idea of how it will be sitting and this is how its turned out.

its still in the arch which is nice, and with everything back in the corsa and with it full of stuff for PVS it should be sitting mint 8) oh and iv also painted the drums again. and 2moro im going to get some paint for these 17's so which colour do you think i should go? white?
