yeah well most people here don't really know them, so they are not to expensive but still a bit hard to find.. once in a while there are a few sets on internet.

Very nice project you got going on! Especially like the interior!
I'm looking for a leather interior as well.

Was wondering, have you painted the wheels yet? Mine are out for powder coating at the moment, will get them back in about 1,5 to 2 weeks.
I am struggling with those hubcap-logo's though.. ordered a extra set of hub caps, since I F-ed the logo's (you know the hole in the back of the hub caps? Pushed something through it, they came off, but don't ask how they look..) on the ones that are out for powder coating..
(and, Opel-dealer told me, they can't supply with just the logo's, furthermore, the hub caps couldn't even be ordered..)

Luckily I was able to track down a set of hub caps on eBay, received 'em yesterday.
Have to find a way to get the logo's off clean, they should be the icing on those fresh coated rims in a few weeks..
Any idea on how to do that? Am trying to get some fishthread behind the logo.. no succes yet.. (Plan Z is to cool it with nitrogen, in a attempt to try and dissolve the glue that is holding it in place)

That was my first idea, but no therein lies the problem..Opel dealer told me they can no longer supply those hub caps :( .

And when I presented both the hub cap and logo as 2 seperate parts (I had already taken the logo's off of the ones that are being coated), his immediate response was; :-| "..that is not how it is supposed to be.." (LOL).
Followed up by him stating that the logo's for this particular hub cap can not be supplied stand-alone or whatsoever.

My big internet quest results taught me, there are no replacement logo's (57mm). Happen to stumble upon a set of hub caps on eBay.de. And had those ship in from Germany. And now I have +/- 2 weeks to figure out how to take the logo's off of these new ones to eventually mount them on the coated caps :meh: ..

Ah well :D ..

BTW; you did had the plan to paint your wheels right? What happened?

Well i hope you sort it out! the logo's really belong there!..

Yeah i had the plan to do so, but i had to go for the apk (mot) and was in need of some new rubber, the only wheels i had new tires for where these. So i had to put em on to get the approval :(..
Just didn't found the time to spray them again.. (Im not in the mood to get the tires off and on) so ill wait till they need replacement and do it then.
