Merry Christmas fellow corsa owners hope all is well guys

Well a boring Boxing Day it seems so went out to tinker with the corsa too wet to do anything that's needing done like fit arb driveshafts so installed some new led side lights that arrived on xmas eve



Next up had to sort the wiring mess in the connector for the CD player



All working now



Next up my rear mudflaps didn't have any clips to secure them to bumper so decided to use some small screws like the previous owner

So whipped bumper off



Nice and solid back end still which is a bonus





Look much better now and also fitted a smoked number plate light



Complete with led bulb



Also got an old alternator belt and measured it and cut down to size and will take that into a shop and try get one the same size as I need. Would have used string but don't have any lol

I think you have to measure the size of the belt you need and then the new belt code will tell you the length so find the closest size.

Thought be easier just running in with the one saying need one this lenth not the longest belt anyway

Happy new year guys pretty wet scotland so far however I was up at my mates last week and managed to get some free corsa bits which is always nice Isn't it



Wiper arms springs and top mounts which are like new will be used as I think it's on spax shocks atm with cut springs and that was how I got it. Ideally want gaz ultra low coilovers but budget doesn't allow atm.

Another thing I noticed was well I've owned 10 corsas to this previously and all have been post 97s or the expetion of the gsi I had but yeah all have looked the same. I've always wanted a pre97 sport in the dark purple they came in but there few and far between so a got in touch with the guy I sold the bumpers from the corsa from when I first bought it and he still had them and said if I could collect them before weekend I could have them for free!

So off I went and got them and got the front fitted 1st





And the rear one too Al need to swap mudflaps over aswell





Now I quite like it but not feeling the silver atm had too many silver ones lol really do fancy that dark purple

Once weathers a bit better Al get other drive shaft fitted springs on and arb refitted

Also been doing a few things to the bmw since there's a scottish drift championship this and it's open to everyone I think I'm going try get the old girl ready for my 1st comp

All red rear lights



Yellow front sidelights and as can tell in the pic by the mad camber I've fitted extended superstyle arms to the front and going modify my hubs for extra lock



Also got hydro mounted where I want it

I put pre 97 front bumper on my corsa Cmcorsa colour coded bottom with the tops and arches gloss black looked good to look at my old project thread to give ya an idea

Quick update some lad on fb was after a badboy bonnet and wanted a swap for his standard and since he wasn't far away I decided to go for it





Will need painting it but it's not rusty which Is perfect just gotta decide on a colour for the car now

Nah straight swap bud badboy bonnet had slight rust on edge and filler work on badboy sections were terrible and I don't think it was done properly as was a mission to open bonnet before but that's how I got the car
