The FREEEE Corsa!
My e36 has Amber side lights like the us spec ones I used a civic ej9 rear bulb holder as its double filament stays light up but still flashs as indicators
Would also get away with corsa being that low if tyres were 185/45/15 or 165/45/15

Re: The FREEEE Corsa!
Easiest way to have US style I seen was the twin filment bulb or I seen a guy who drilled a pin hole at the bottom of the light and he just ran an extra side inside the indicator housing was just a orange 501 bulb and a few inches of wire
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: The FREEEE Corsa!
But the twin filament bulbs just flash brighter when using indicators right?

Yeah said it was the easiest not the best [emoji38] best would be to get a a relay that's constant on and then cuts to flash, where you'd get one I don't know though

Re: The FREEEE Corsa!
You can just buy a kit that you wire to the indicators and whatever you want them to come on with, so parks. That will do it right and it passes an NCT there 50euro.johnny wrote:Yeah said it was the easiest not the best [emoji38] best would be to get a a relay that's constant on and then cuts to flash, where you'd get one I don't know though

Re: The FREEEE Corsa!
So, I bit the bullet the other week & found some -110mm rear springs & set about fitting them after work the night they arrived...
Discovered there was a cruise only a few minutes down the road from me on Saturday night so I decided to have a mad rush & try to get The Rotten Rebel (Yes I named it...) somewhat finished so I could get it there, Decided to go out tonight & give it a wash & have a drive seeing as it feels like ages since I've been behind the wheel & decided to get some pics of the current state...
And an arty farty panoramic...
All was well until on my way home until The Rotten Rebel decided it didn't like the N/S Shaft... again!
Couldn't bodge it back together so my mate went to fetch his van to tow me (Handy I bought a tow rope earlier on in the week!) meanwhile Mcd's was directly opposite & I needed to empty my bladder, on my return the poor thing literally looked abandoned...
So after a rather sketchy tow home & an interesting line over speedbumps I'm now off to bed but it's home atleast!

Re: The FREEEE Corsa!
Had abit of a brainwave this afternoon... The only conclusion I'd had about how it managed to tear the driveshaft out in such a spectacular fashion was that they were on the limit & had no travel when making contact with any bumps or potholes etc. Knowing me & how much I like my lows I'm willing to give a few things a try before admitting defeat & raising it back up so how plausible does an engine/gearbox raise sound?
