paxo saxo. i know some one who has 1.1 and the poor car. the only good thing about it is when i have had a bad day i just go see his car.

I like the vtr and the vts the vts being far better but i wouldnt have one, im not keen on french cars i feel far safer in my lil corsa.

My mate has a 1.1 but drives it like a vtr/vts, he\'s had 3 stupid moments so far and his dad\'s bailed him out on all 3...

I feel that there is some tention in this discussion! But i dont like Saxo\'s at all just dont like the shape.

cause most the owners think there the quickest car on the road. The only quick saxo is the vts. My brothers mate has a vtr he thinks its dead quick kept telling me my corsa (1.6) was crap and how good his vtr his. Used to say it all the time to me so told him show me how good it is. Shut up bout his car when my corsa left him miles behind.

i dont like saxo, i have driven vtr\'s and vts\'s and while there are rapid little motors, i personally wudnt have one. the sitting position and driving position is awful i find, and have been told this by others. the handling can be a bit scary in the wet, the arse end all over the shop, more tail happy than my old mk2 eccy. they are quite flimsy but then again so are a lot of small cars. i can understand why a lot of ppl go for them tho, the are cheap to run, cheap to insure, plenty of stuff for them, very much why ppl drive corsas. im not a particular fan of french cars (being a vauxhall man myself)
now i compare a saxo to a corsa i find (for me) the corsa to be far more comfortable better seating/driving position. i am 6ft5 so any small car is a challenge, the handling is far more predictable on the limit, the corsa is more tuneable too.
some ppl like saxos, some ppl like corsas, for me, a saxo doesnt do it, where as a corsa does.
and the thing about vts being quicker than vtrs, the differnce is 1 second 0-60 and about 5mph top end, coz they are basically the same car and the vtr is actually the better engine to tune for power.
these views are from my own point of view, as im am sure there are many who disagree.

i just hate the typical saxo boy racer always a chav or a ponse with the saxo lean where they lean in middle of the windscreen like it makes em better drivers, plus i know lots of saxo drivers and out of bout 20 19 of them are cocks.

most saxo drivers just think they know it all, i had one the other night overtake me, driving like a badger into a roundabout then overtaking thinking he was something special. but there again the saxosportsclub seem a preety decent bunch.
