Thanks, yeah is coming together now, banks slowly emptying thou
And not yet harvey but i got a guide on how to do it, ill probs do it weekend then have to wait til engines running to see if it works

well done some headwork today, finished lapping in the valves and cleaned them. also done porous head mod aswell, hope it works or ill have to fork out on coscast head!
Also powersteering pump came through post and conversion bracket and belt
and sent these few bits of to chroming

nice job, and if you need a new head get a late type XE head they'v got larger inlet and exhaust ports so allow for more power

really didnt know that.. wouldve expected coscast to have bigger ports myself. hopefully i dont need another head thou

yea hopefully you dont, put thats also another reason why i sold my coscast head, the lad who's porting and polishing it said if you can use your head then it would be better as its got larger ports than a coscast one, so when its ported and polished it will be way bigger and more flowing, aparently.

got my new stem seals and fitted them yesterday and got all valve retained back in place now, can bolt on head this week and refit lifters and cams!
also gave it a bit of paint

fair play looks smart!!! might be worth running a tap down those exhaust holes to clean the threads as they can pick up and be a bit of a C*NT

thanks for advice harv, think ill do that then as was hard to get out to!!
and yeah the paint is good looks nice, just have watch oil hands when workin on engine
