no its not hard to paint the parts tbh,as long as you have some common sense and can remove and refit the panels..and the painting bit is easy as well
im sure theres plenty of guides on how to paint on da internetzzz..but for mine,i cleaned them,then prepped using some wet n dry to key the surface for primer,then put down the primer..once that had dried i smoothed out any marks etc in the primer with some scotchy pads/400 wet n dry..then applied the paint,smoothed out and polished this..as it was interior parts i just used that plastikote stuff so didnt need lacquer.
