Well not been around here much. Due to not doing any more mods and car running fine for me.
2 new issues now tho, Car sounds like a beast due to the tail pipe must have a tiny hole in it so i need to get that fixed
also i still have the Engine Management Light on, but lately its been knocking its self off more often when i build up a bit of speed and rev's
i wonder is it the coil pack ? or something else i should really get the damm thing checked.
Still dont know why i cant buy a EML code reader tho when the general word going around is that the X12XE Corsa B 1.2 16v wont work with code readers.
How the hell does my mechanics one work ?
Cheers.

Well theres the problem !
a wee bit of rust. Quickly got that chopped off and replaced. Its also seemed to have a good effect on the engine lights as it dont come on as much.
mate plugged it up to mechanic computer to check the engine light. i think next step is to blank off the EGR for good. and consider buying a new coil pack.
Also.. I Just hit 70,000 miles this week folks. not bad for a 1999 that ive owend from 14,000 on the clock !

You have to cut a hole for the water otherwise it will cause more problems

yea its a few mm thick so its quite strong while still remaining thin.
used a disk cutter on my dremel 3000 to cut it out, it started off rough, but once the basic shape was there i was able to tidy it up and smooth round off the edges and sides.

Hello Again Folks ! - Bit of an update and research post for you all.
Got some great weather past few days, so after a year, i pulled the GSI Spoiler out of the shed and dusted it off and got it stuck. Used Windscreen Sealant so its not gona budge. Might use a bit more on some of the arches and skirts cause the heat has warped it a bit and its coming away slightly.
- - - - -
Car needs a good rub down with polish and wax to really bring up the shine and just to generally keep good care of the body paint / work now its completed and in good condition.
- - - - -
New rear brake shoes fitted and new rear brake spring kit fitted. as my handbrake wasn't working. ( had to park it in 1st gear for a good few months )
Also fitted another new oil sump gasket as i swear it was leaking some oil, so have to keep an eye on that still.
- - - - -
Also stuck £50 worth of petrol in at the price of about £1.33 per liter. That's 37.59 liters in the car. Divide that by 4.54 to work out gallons that's 8.28 Gallons
Divide the total miles i covered from Saturday 1st 2013 - Saturday 8th 2013 = 410.4 miles by the gallons.
That's a Grand total of 49.56 Miles Per Gallon.

Looks really nice mate! Need some clear mk4 Astra side repeaters and colour coded side strips, door handles and boot lock and it will just finish it off
also with a 60mm drop too

Well Gazza hows it going ?
yea the clear Mk4 Astra Repeaters would look good.
I was going to remove the side strips with heat gun and take my time at it.
And i dont mind the door handles and boot grip being standard. i think it would be almost too blue if i done that, i had considered it tho.
MOT is due on the 15th this month, i think i have everything in check. my rear wiper jammed up tho
its the one with the Punto arm on it. il look into fixing it soon.
And yea i need new suspension badley, any weight in the back and it hits the arse over every bump. i think my shocks are gone as the rear springs were replaced not long ago. Ive i was going to lower it would be 40mm no more than that. i want it subtle looking.

Not too bad thanks mate! What about yourself? Can pick them up from scrappy for free or on eBay for like £8
sounds good with side strips, just be weary that the paint might not be great under them...
