nice weather so painted gearbox today.. just waiting on cam cover now and a few deliveries then engine should be mostly finished. maybe taking car off road next week to begin work on it ready for engine change :)

its not mint close up lol. well paint good, i think someone before had extended the gear linkage while still in car and there's all spatter on the box. im being fussy thou lol, probs wont see it when its in :lol:

looks smart dude fair play, makes me feel like taking my engine out again when iv got it taken it and got it back from the partial head re-build and spraying it up propper.

If you can help it dude I'd say don't remove your gearbox seals they're a right badger to change and better off removing the diff retaining castilated nut and I'd your replacing both sides then you'l have to re'set all your pre'load onto your diff and contact patches for the teeth and stuff

thats alright dude, take the bottom plate off tho and have a look around see if its alright and change the oil in it, it should be alright then, its rare the seals go to be honest, i only had to change mine because the CV joint went and think it split the one rubber on the seal, it was a right badger tho it was.

£16 is not to bad then. im just using this for 500 miles as its running in oil and will bed in the new rings etc... then will switch to gm oil
