Il stick up a few detailed pics to show you, to see what you think.
might be a bit of rust at the rear pipe section.

Exhaust Prep.
I went all over the exhaust checking for flakes/rust/holes etc
I wanted to fully prep the exhaust before just sticking it on the car and have it rust or blow out not long after.
heres how i got on...
Twin Square Irmscher
Flaking rust
Top section
bashed to fit on last owner car ?
looks like 2 weld patches
logo Irmscher remus
powder metal
bit of a hole at the back
after using a screwdriver to find flaking rust and soft spots, uncovered this hole...
Used wire brush all over the exhaust to prep the metal
Tools on hand... hammerite rust eater and holts gun gum
Painted over the rust with the hemmerite rust eater gell
Packed in the holts gun gum into the holes & rusted areas, also smoothed over the 2 weld patches
The next morning... still work to be done
I plan to cure it using a heat gun tomorrow to harden the Holts gun gum, then i can decide to prime it using Hammerite rust primer. then apply a top layer of Halfords High Temp (600c) manifold/exhaust matt black paint.

Borrowed the heat gun from work, it says it heats up between 330 - 550 degrees.
Gona blast the Holts gun gum to simulate it sitting idle on the car to cure the paste hard as rock.
then i can get around to the hammerite primer and high temp painting should look like brand new,
if it gives me trouble later down the line i can get it spot welded depending on the wear and tear.

Used the heat gun, some of the holts gun gum bubbled up, prob from trapped air bubbles that became super heated.

Added some more gun gum and let it cure on top of the old stuff.
blasted it with more heat to try and harden it some more.
sanded it down so it felt smooth and painted it with the Matt black high heat paint...
going to layer up a few coats of black paint over next few days and keep blasting with heat.
