New brakes are working beautifully, i removed the pistons from the calipers, cleaned, greased and rebuilt them up as im sure one or maybe both were sticking.

Cheers lads. 35 quid in halfords for the kit, seems abit steep but oh well lol.
Is there a way to wire it so that it can be disconnected really quick so i can get my boot back when its needed?

Ahh nice 1 :D so its not dangerous to leave the wires loose? It wont matter if they touch eachother when left in the boot?

The remote wire is what goes into the back of the stereo mate  basically the kit u need will contain coaxials, 1 live (which goes to the battery), 1 negative( which u earth to the body, and a remote wire
If it ain't green and black send it back :D
