If its not worth doing i wont do it so would it be worth getting an independant amp to power the 6x9s as they are 100w rms an 300w max each. When i blast the radio up the just distort.
Well tbh they will over power the rest of ya speakers if they are plugged in an amp the distortion is probably cus ur stereo isn't powerful enuf or they are wired up wrong way round. My fusion speakers in my parcel shelf dont distort when i turn my stereo u loud and the r 240w rms
I wired mine to the original rears so i have 6 working in the car that cud be why mine dont do it as they all are basically working off the original harness on the car
Forgot to update this lol. So i got the sub in, took me 3 hours which i didnt think was too bad for a first time (would have taken alot longer without help for you guys) i have it wired to a switch and found a handy plug to easily and quickly remove the sub when needs be. Also my dad fitted my standard exhaust back on as my nct is on the 17th so the car sounds like an electric car its so quiet haha. I will get pics of the plug i used later on as i think everyone needs it
It uses a lot more battery power when your listening to sub when the car isn't started, mine did the same so stopped doing it afterwards and starts fine now.
