erm you could mount the amp the back of the chair and put the 6.5s in the sides ( the plastics ) and 6x9 in the shelf

just get rid of the parcel shelf then mount them all into a stealth shelf with the amp screwed to the bottom and run all the wiring from speakers tappered along the bottom? would be easy to mount them all into a pience of mdf then do 2x4 edges then another mdf with holes in the top above the speakers then mesh over the holes and cover the top piece seperatley from the bottom and do screw holes for the top one to screw onto the bottom piece. the bottom section would only need the material on the edges and bottom cos once the top section screwed down it will stop u from bein able see the bare inside where the speakers would be located if u know what i mean. basically a two piece parcel shelf with hollow middle with speakers mounts only in the bottom and then havin mesh an material above each speaker. this would mean the shelf would act kind of like a ported/sealed sub enclosure for the speakers.

parcel shelf would bascally look the same except hollow with the speakers inside and mdf, mesh and material top cover to hide em. the sub would mount to the bottom of the shelf. But im startin to think that u want an actall boot build with speakers in the boot but u still want access to lights, have a spare wheel and have space to put shopping in the boot etc. What u need to do is get some of the new generation shallow speakers and mount em to the back of the rear seat in a mdf backboard then just use standard supplied grilles to protect the speakers. U would need to get a new parcel shelf or not have one though cos urs is all leaky lol...unless u cut out the whole centre bit and custom mesh it urself for better sound distribution from the boot...that way u get to recycle ur current shelf and make a new mod to ur car lol

so basically u mean mount speakers in back of seats and dnt have a parcel shelf?
i was thinkin of when money allows getting a better amp and a sub and have a sub mounted in the back of the back seats would tht work? then 6x9's like in corsabois parcel shelf then maybe my 6.5's where the standard speakers are under the plastic.
do u think tht would be good? or even work?

that sounds like loads more work really. What i mean is that u make an extension of the back upright seat...like false backing. so in a sense a table on its side with no legs lol. Then mount all the speakers into that facin to the boot lid. The spare wheel hole doesnt matter if partially covered by this at the back cos u will be able to lift it a bit and pull it out still. so in a way it like puttin the parcel shelf upright against the back of the backseat.then u would have even more space to mount speakers. bit of a borin idea though cos it would just be a big rectangle build basically.

would it not be easier maybe having a false floor kinda thing like your idea for the seats but on the floor and have the speakers to the side and then at middle over wheel it can lift up or sumit?

ur 6.5s wont fit the top of the plastics m8 biggest is 10cm speakers sadly
and the stelf shelfs uve seen on ebay 4 £40 r sold by my step dad lol name is 1800turbogte lol and ur best bet is 2 put ur 6x9s in the shelf and get a pice of mdf same lenth and with of ur rear seats and mount ur amp and 6.5s there or have u still got standerd speakers in ur doors if so put them there
