i havent taken photos of strut brace tonight, i give up now, iv been doing everything today been proper busy tbf!! but least my cars looking mint eh

i did have, until i took em off coz they need new tyres and the one catches the strut... but yea time for a

iv just taken the cat of this car and put a de-cat, and i dont like the exhaust not plus iv lost my scooby induction noise but i have gained a longer torque band throughout all of the range, instead of just 3500 -6200, so i guess thats a plus, but i think my welding has a couple of holes in it, so i'l have to whip it off again and see where its leaking, then try it again and then put the putty around the joints just to make sure. im a bit annoyed about that tho

couple more updates, iv put my brace back on, if it'l do anything i dont know, but it looks the part anyway. plus also got a couple of photos of the clearance between the strut and tyre, the one with clearance is passenger side, and the one without and drivers side, but im getting new tyres on monday, so with them being different size tyres to what are on their now then they should fingers crossed BOTH miss the suspension strut, or so i hope lol but if you look the tyres are the same size but the one just bulges out further, the tyres im getting shouldnt do this, well they havent on my other alloys running same tyres anyway.

couldnt you get a spacer to sort that problem out mate ?

im getting new tyres monday, so that should sort out the problem, its beucase the one tyre sticks out like 1 maybe 1.5 cm over the rim unlike the other side, because they're different makes of tyres so hopefully with new new tyres that dont do that, i should be back rolling again

ahh nice alot more practical than a spacer that way

haha yea, then i can finally sort out my ride height when iv got the new tyres on the front, and get her sitting level

bear in mind new tyres still aint gona give you miles of clearence, and even with new tyres when theres a bit of wieght in the car or if you go over pot holes etc. the tyres are still gona buldge out and possibly catch

ahh but if you see from the two photos, the car was sat on the floor, i took these photos on my phone but like a blind photo coz i couldnt see the clearance i just reached around and took them, and when i took the tyres off you could easily see that the two tyres are totally different, and you can see from the photo that they are totally different, as long as i have clearance thats all that matters =]

yh mate i get wot your saying, i jst dont think new tyres are gona solve the problem. i dont wana see you write your car off or sumit........

ahhh it'l be alright new tyres will aid the solution anyway =] and if it doesnt then onto stage 2, which i havent decided yet lol
