Sorry, They will be going yellow. Meant to say the wings are just in primer for now. They used to be red with a few small dings and a fair bit of scratches but no rust so the painter said he would clean them up for me and prime them. The wings i had on mine were pretty rotten so they got chuckedPRICER wrote:you leaving the wings white are you???

Cheers nath, Yeah bleach does the trick. Takes a while but saves trying to get inside it with a brush or cloth. Then i just scrubbed the outside an it now looks mint.

Yep the whole car going that colour,
My plan is to have the car yellow and all the plastics painted matt black to get that factory look without the plastics turning grey again
The car will be a bit multi coloured until it gets painted, Going to get a new bootlid on sunday from a mate at the scrappies, Says he's got a good one for me an don't know what colour that is . The interior is the next thing to get painted soon as i have finished under the engine bay. Will keep you all updated with plenty pics as more gets done.

dont go mad painting the interior :/ best bet is to leave it all genuine as it just generally looks alot cleaner than spraying all the plastic bits.

Only the outside plastics getting painted mate, Just the metal work in the car getting done yellow. All interior plastics are just getting cleaned up.
Speaking to the painter last night an were hoping to have it with him by aug/sept time. That way i'm not rushing to get it all done As much as i want it done NOW its not goin to happenJamie1991 wrote:should look mint in yellow tbf, when u think it will all be finished?

Will defo be ready for the shows next year, I only get the weekends to work on it (12 hours a week).
Its purely just a project for me to play with in my spare time. Can't wait to see all your motors come next year, Its alright seeing them in pics but would rather see them all in the flesh
