So all cams? Like 1.4's to etc? What sort of gains will it give? And would it not f**k the way the engine runs eg valves opening wrong times?

Ye i read gsi nova was the best one as well

The best think to do was dump the single point injection system and fit a carb and manifold from the 1.3/1.4 Nova's and Astras, plus fit the cam from the same engines.

Yeah think the 2ltr cam fits aswell but I think I remember someone saying it mashes the valves

No it has to be timed up after changing the cam so that stops it mashing

Alright mate, from a nova gsi would the gain be that noticeable?

It's ment to be a noticeable gain show you could be talking 5-15hp increase maybe more, I've never had a 1.2 8v to try so I'm just purely going off what I've been told

Nova for acceleration and astra for top end if i remeber correctly?

Awesome haha, dont need top end, now to try get some nova cams

2ltr cam won't fit, GM used a small block and big block set up for their engines, 1.0 - 1.6 are small block and 1.8 & 2.0 are big blocks.

I found this out with a rare 1.4 mk3 Cavalier when I was trying to boosts its power!

I ended up picking up a stolen recovered SRi and swapping everything over

So something like this is what i'm looking for?
