Got a replacement 2nd hand oil sump, started to clean it all up today.
It also came with a replacement rubber bung which i was talking about at the very start of this guide so im over the moon.

Got the Rear lights fitted, easy mod. Just need Orange blubs now tho for it to be legal.

damm them bulbs seem hard to buy, even normal orange ones are hard to get
tried two halford stores and all they had was 382 in white or 581 in orange.
the 581 is offset pins so no joy, 382 is opposite pins.
Had to order them off ebay to get what i wanted.

First ever bit of damage ive done to any car in my lifetime
Been driving for 10 years - there goes my record
Was sitting parked doing kayaking then as i went to go home thought i was clear, went to slowly take off and went down a high curb section part of the river slipway there was also a ballard so it scrapped the whole way from passenger door to the rear arch.
Took it to a good friend of the family who does body work and paint. hes going to fix it up. while im at it going to get him to fit the new bonnet and redo the GSI kit to stick it in place proper, as it warped in the sun. dono how much its gona set me back yet

Mate thats pants but doesnt look to bad tbh at least it didnt damaged the wheels or suspension
