new inner and outer cv came yesterday, fitted them and put shaft back in! i brought some washers to fit on the outer cv so it will in theory make shaft longer, i put 5 washer on altogether and been on 20mile drive come back and shaft still in gearbox so it seems to have done the trick
also brought new dizzy cap and afm! fitted them seems to run a little better now, just got this noise now, sounded like exhaust blowing at first but seems worse now lol, it sounds to me like there no oil in box, so need to check that asap! if it is exhaust blowing then im taking it back for them to do being as i paid poo loads haha, plus lifetime warranty on it too
buying a few new bits for engine next week too and guna do a small few things ready for pvs

for anyone interested, i went scrapyard today and asked them to weigh my car
it weighed up at 1000kg bang on, that was with full tank of fuel also, so would weigh rougly 970kg without fuel! 450 miles done now too, driving back home and it cut out and went bang dead loud, thought crap its blown, pulled over opened bonnet to the biggest relief ever, was just the main coil lead came of the dizzy cap
