well, fitted my new polished items this morning! after doing it came to start and wouldnt go, lost f**king spark again! ive checked it all over many times see if i missed plug or anything but i havent, even tried my other ecu and still no joy! havent a clue why changing dipstick tube and water rail would cause it to loose spark  might have to cancel pvs at this rate

Disturbed the loom? Broken wire?

sounds like a broken wire doesnt it, hmm if you were real keen you could swap to a dizpack system (iv got one from mine) that worked.

well checked the loom tonight, and you both was right, wire going to coil had split, so must have upset it when doing other jobs! connected it back up anyway and engine fired into life :) will solder it later in week when i get some solder as ran out..

gave it a good thrash today, hit well over 100mph couple times, is dangerous atm in my poo suspension, problem is ive now got this knocking when pulling of sometimes in first and sometimes going round corners! sounds very much like a cv to me, soo ill inspect tomorrow see if can find everything, if it is probs have to cancel pvs or limp there at 50mph all the way! it seems fine driving thou, just pulling off and corners occasionally. my speedo is out a good 8-9mph too

Yea they go like f**k! Can't wait to drive mine 2moro :) bummer to hear about the possible cv joint don't really know what else it could be and you are coming to pvs! Don't pull that excuse lol your using uprated shafts aren't you? what inner and outer cv joints are you using? As I want up upgrade my short shaft to a big cv setup as only running a gsi short shaft atm and thats the inner one that kept blowing until I lifted the gearbox up on the mounts but I'm still tempted to do the shafts and cv joints anyway.
