Seems someone else signed for my smoked depos or they got lost in the post, trying to sort it out with the seller.

Did you buy private? Seller is responsible to replace them or compensate you
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Seller claims he sent them in the post via "Parcel2go" gave me a tracking number which i checked, his agrument from the start was that i got the item on the 23rd Dec and signed for it at 9am i only ordered them on the 21st 12:42am (so technicaly the 22nd) came from england. so thats about 24 hour delivery all in all ?

Parcel2go wont speak to me due to data protection which is a joke.

seller is getting pissed off at me and he feels im a ebay scammer that got the item and now looking a full refund, truth is i want the item more.

the way i see it, the seller gets the £51 i paid, Parcel2go gets the lights, and Ebay fork out £51 to refund me. Seems fair ??

ended up reporting Parcel2go to watch dog nothing but complaints on the facebook page and review sites.

i now have to wait 8 days before i can escalate the issue to ebay for a full refund, lucky i paid with paypal.

You can ask parcel2go to show you the signature and ask them about if they overnight parts overseas because I've yet to find a company that will it's always 1-2 days

The blame clearly falls on parcel2go, call them again and ask for a manager

yea i thought i could check the image of the signature and dispute it or maybe it would lead me to the house it was left at perhaps a neighbour has it and dont know its for me ?

but again they hide behind data protection and said they cant send me the signature they emailed it to the sender, but that makes no sence cause if hes the scammer then hes going to lie about it.

although now after all day fighting this the seller wrote back with a new reff number and it shows its still on route ?

the plot thickens !

Yea i think the seller now sees that im not trying to scam him and hes more on my side about the whole thing.

they courier service said it was sent to the wrong postcode in the end, and that it will be rerouted. i dont think theres much more i can do about it now but wait.

it just goes to show tho. i was happy to find out i was right in the end and that i held my ground instead of just getting a refund. which would have been the easy option.

im happy that i won the argument in the end. its the principal of it that i take satisfaction in that and knowing that i should be getting my lights as promised.

i didnt want the refund. i just hate being told something i know is not true and i take pride in winning the argument.

----------

update to project log. ordered a bunch of parts today on ebay

new front GSI fog light switch
new rear fog light switch ( mine is temperamental at times and can be very hard to turn off, happened a few times in the MOT center )
New multimeter ( so i can track down the fault to my gsi front passenger fog light and get it working again )
i had also ordered a replacement driver side bulb holder as my driver side tail light had stopped working after getting the car back from re-spray, after a lot of back and forward checking fueses etc last night in the pitch black turns out its just the bulb blown so i canceled the order and got a refund.

the last thing i noticed after getting the car back from 9 weeks of not driving it and driving my other car ( 2008 toyota ) is that my brakes are soo bad. so orded new set of Delphi brake pads. going to get them fitted and the hand brake tightened.

thats all for now.
