Did you find it easy to do the handles still on the car or do you reckon it would be better having them off?

remove the handles mate loads easier I will be taking mine out to re-do mine as the paint hasn't taken to few parts and gone all dotty they need rubbing down then plastic primer / high build primer first

So started my rear quarter today

Sanded ready for filler

Started to primer

Then stripped the interior

Image

Interior the 2 front seats and all 4 door cards are being sent to plush automotive for a retrim in red leather and the rear is getting a false floor with a boot build

One to watch now 8-)

£1600 for both front seats and all 4 door cards in red leather :D

Is that including the falso floor aswell or just seats and cards?

will be double stitched centres mate with the diamond pattern but wont happen till I have the pennies

So I Wont be attending any show in her this year as it getting a full restore and getting stripped to a bare shell going to finish the rear quarter today and then I will go up on axle stands to be rebuilt from ground up :D

So picking my seats up Monday :D :D the false floor will be from back of boot to the rear foot wells and have 2 x 10" subs were the back seats normally are and 2 x Amps sunk into the floor in the boot will also be having the wheel well on show with another BBS on show and red L.E.Ds glowing for night / cruises :D

hopefully starting to build the frame tomorrow
