well i guess we''ll just have to wait an see how the car progresses. If it had enough done to it in the next 5 months then i will probably head down. See if i cant stay at a mates in coventry then drive over to santa on the 8th june if im gonna get there. Hopefully i will keep doin smaller bits and bobs over the next month or two, then i will have another 2-4 weeks of holiday where i can go mental on it. And the bonus is i will have the house to myself so i can bring in bits into the house to do work on like cleaning etc in the bath and sanding etc instead of outside in the cold! Hopefully by july i will have a complete custom interior. Dont know if i will have done the lights, alloys or suspension by then. Might try doin a slow project on making a boot build or sumin aswell, like a couple hours a week or sumin for a month or two. To many ideas lol.

my first car too, might get a 1.6 engine conversion in a year or so as it pretty simple to get done....although i could just try and but a 1.6 corsa, strip it then swap interior with my current car. Maybe not though...could redo it or sumin.

decicsions are sooo hard lol...there soo much i wanna do..then i think i could do something else...im just gonna go with the flow and see how my car turns out lol...im not sure if il just swap engine or just get a new corsa..might just get new corsa thats already lowered etc and with spoiler n that..so i can concentrate on making the interior nice etc.

yeah suppose that is quite a good idea really. Since putitn the new 6x9's in i cant help but want to get some tweeters aswell now. Thinkin bout puttin 2 tweeters in each A and B pillars and just upgradin my amp to a new 10000watt 6 channel amp with pre-amp in glovebox so can control all treble mids highs and bass on the move. Would mean i will have to fibreglass the tweeaters mounts onto the current pillars, but it means they would look much better, can be changed colour at the same time and i can do the roof lining. Think i will do that in my next uni break around easter and focus on doin the front doors and steering wheel until then. The more simple things to change that i can still use my car while doin em basically.

yeh eventually i want tweeters in the door handles.and gonna change the front door speakers.not gonna do anything as drastic as ur doing lol...too complicated for me..im poo with electrics lol...am alrite with engine stuff, and good with the sprayin/bodywork.but i hate electrics lol.
i found an old issue of fast car mag where the cover car was a dub corsa done for unda 5k..got pics of the sprayed interior etc so im gonna take sum pics n put on ere so people can get some more ideas.

nice man. Im not sure if ill put tweeters in the handles cos they just to small really lol. Think i will do high tweeters in the mirror adjuster bit once i got aftermarket mirrors on, and sets of two tweeters in each A and B pillar. Havin 2 x tweeters in each B pillar and 1 tweeter and 1 tweeter sub horn (maybe) in each A pillar. epends on how well can they can be angled/fibreglassed. Otherwise just 2 x tweeters in each A an B hopefully. Figured out the B channel prob on the amp. It so u can run two sets of RCA cables from headunit to the amp. Dont have this so will have to use RCA splitters to get the L + R inputs running on both A + B inputs on the amp. Will still need to upgrade when i do the tweeters though. Unless i mount the kendood in the front for front door speakers etc and the other in the boot for rear speaker, sub n tweeters etc. Im gonna love doin this when i got the time! Will be a propa brain twister for the wiring etc so keep ohms impedence level across all the wiring.

its all too complicated for me lol..il be happy with the 6x9s in parcel shelf, uprated front door speakers, sub in boot, and maybe the tweeters in the handles just for look more than anything else.and obvs amp lol
im that a big fan of lots of ice really...when i eventually get a car im gonna keep-its gona totally stripped n rollcaged lol..only music to my ears will be sound of the turbo whistlin haha(il keep dreamin for now
)
im thinkin of losin the stickers down my doors though, gonna go for slightly more subtle rally style i think.colour code bumpers n arches...just gonna modify the standard pre 97 bumper i have on there.spray the blak lock bit on the boot white.and the door handles white.whack some decent 15s on n drop her 40 mm...oh and new backbox maybe at some point-want something that has a more spitty rally sound

dont forget to buy urself that £5 dump valve for that "Rally style sound" ROLF!!
I just wanna experiment with gettin the hang of modin really. And as it a cheap car to start with really anything i do to it only gonna add value. Plus ill probs keep it as it a good motorway runner. get like 65mpg goin at 70-80mph with me and a mate in the car. Go like 90 on my own and still get 50mpg easy!

lol it makes me laugh the things people do sometimes...have u seen them induction turbos? lol..they are basically turbos that attach to the air filter n suk extra air in lol...
iv actually bin drivin my car about now...looks so much nicer wen u see it amongst normal cars rather than sat on my drive lol
i love it.finally seein her let lose as inspired me alot on the way i want the car to go...hence why i wanna lose the stickers down doors

im guessin they turned heads....just not in the way u imagined they would?
Can hardly say u "let loose" in a 1.2corsa! lol...but i understand wat ur gettin at. The day u pass ur test and get in ur car on ur own for the first time knowin ur about to drive on ur own propa for the first time is the best feelin mate. I can still remember gettin into the corsa after gettin home from the test center....felt so wierd again even though i had driven it around so much prior to that, either way, was on the road with mates cruising and pumpin tunes 30 mins later. Was a wiked day!

The feeling of passing your test and getting the keys to drive your own car without anyone else is brilliant.
I waited till i was 19 before i learned. Passed just after my 20th bday (passed middle of july). We were going away on holiday for almost whole of August so altho i had my car in the June we didn't insure it until the start of September. So i had that little bit longer to wait to jump in my corsa and drive that around.
I can remember getting home from my test and borrowing my dad's Maestro at the time to drive round to my girlfriends. Then when the time came to drive the corsa it was LUSH!!
4 years on and i still love it to bits!!

theres just somethin bout corsas tha ti love-just cant figure what it is,maybe the fact they look so good with such little modification.
