Im actually happy this time around to stick with my 1.2 of course i woulda loved to stick a higher engine in there but after buying a 2nd car etc that woulda been too expensive.

The car itself was always it great condition had it from 14,000 miles. and for a 13 year old car ive just hit 56,000. Mainly cause i use it to drive to work now (300miles per week, so im racking it up) I gave it full service back in November time, and had a few problems with air flow meter and ICU. Since then its made me want to start this project of somewhat restoring the car, fixing any mechanic issues and giving it a good clean/fix up. Strip the eninge and replace all the gaskets etc as its leaking oil now and i dont feel its driving too healhy sort of speak. I want it running smooth again. Its also a big leaning experiance / hobby at the same time. Its all in my project thread if you take a look. Next step is to save up £200 and buy the final parts i need to do the engine rebuild in April. then i can sort out the cosmetics after that in my own time. But as its leaking oil etc theres a big push for April rebuild and i have 1 week to do it all !! so although my project is slow at the moment and all talk .. come april time .. provided no nasty bills creap up i should be able to get some good photos up thick and fast and see what shape the inner engine is in. so im all excited and cant wait till April
