Are side repeaters a legal requirement? Hate having orange lenses, I have plasti dip left which will be a cheap fix but doubt the light will be seen.

Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1986 must be fitted with one side repeater indicator on each side. Instead of a separate lamp, the side repeater might be part of the front direction indicator if it includes a wraparound lens.
Taken from the mot manual

Side repeaters are fitted so the direction of the vehicle can be
Seen from most of all angles you can relocate them
To wing mirrors
As for not having them its a bit of a grey area with the police
On modern cars
I would just do what I did and tinted them

I need fogs first lol. It's something I was defo going to do if I got one with fogs on.
should get the vxr front bumper on, they look so much better on it, but I'm not 100% if they did a preface version did they :conf:

I know this was a while ago s comment but if your didn't find this out the prefacelift came as a gsi which was a v6 and the facelift was the vxr

Looks tidy mate. I love these vectras but I'm torn between these and the b. I love a good old vectra b estate. I miss mine now lol. If you just do the first 2 dust layers on side repeaters you may get away with it instead of actually covering them like the badges. Might be worth a try
