Re: project grim reaper
yer im thinking of doing it now possibly
btw your bonnet looks sik, that must of cost you alot to do it and i take it you got it done professionally, coz it looks like theres no air bubbles or anything like that. looks quality.

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Re: project grim reaper
UUUUUUUPDATES
havent updated this in a while so here goes (copied and pasted from another forum)
well pics of how its standing
wheels spaced out better
fronts
rears need a bit more space
but going to get another set of arches which wont be as wide and the wheels will have a bit of poke .....and not forgetting to mention will be carbon wraped
have now got myself some front coilovers and adjustable rears
a pair of 32mm spacers being made
and a new drivers seat
from an RX7 FD3S
well headlight covers came so had to fit them and take pics to share with Y'ALL........and it looks EVIL imo
in the words of agro santos "me likey like"
ight i have been a bit busy retrimmed my A pillars in carbon wrap and done a bit of graffiti on them
them cabon wrapped the boot release thing (dont know the name lol) did crinkle abit due to the shape
have also carbon wrapped my arches but as the wrap wasnt wide enough i had to do it in 2-3 pieces, not that noticable until you look up close! havent got pics of them atm due to the car being filthy
oh and just a tease
NEW SPACERS
carbon wrapped the b pillars, i found the trick to good wrapping is a hairdryer
was going to do a bit of stickerbombing on them but decided not to
had a couple of stickers that i wanted to use but i couldnt find the best place to stick them
then fitter A pillars and B pillars
now i cant decide what to do with the center console as doesnt really go with what i have done so far this is how it looks
an ideas? carbon wrapping it is more difficult due to the gap where the clock is as cant really leave the inside plain
then i gave it a fooking good clean as i havent in a while
also carbon wrapped the arches need to redo them though
well last night as i pulled out of a parking space my bottom ball joint snapped was lucky it happened at work as the day before i done a 300 mile drive from camberidge to devon, if it happened on the motorway god knows what would have a happened, also due to the fact nothing was holding my wheel steady when it was put onto th back of the lorry my wings got damaged and pulled the drive shaft out and ripped my inner CV boot
heres the pics
damage wing
have managed to get the wing as best as i could and whilst i was doing it i came up with a lil idea and set to work.......bit of graffiti
car is now back together and wing is fitted with a bit more work done to keep with the grim reaper
heres the pics
i had got a new front splitter off a trans am, well i fitted and look rude as **** however i had a bit of an incident as to which i bottomed out and it ended up wrapped under the car smashed to pieces
however i played around with it abit to make it work as would have been a waste of money not to atleast try, it did have vents in it but these got damaged when i caught it so have came up with this
it didnt look right so took it off and replaced it with a mk2 golf one
gave the car a wash and fitted new splitter from a mk2 golf
also removed the heart and star stickers off the dash
and 32mm spacers came in the post yesturday
£80 well spent i think
well finally got round to fitting the RX7 seats, was a bit of a pain in the arse job but here is how they look
next on the list is
respray front and rear bumper and boot
depo standard headlights and add a bit of a twist
fit custom exhaust tips
fit 52mm rear spacers
replace stem sills to stop oil being burnt aswell as doing water pump, cambelt and a service all in time for modded nats
all comments welcome

Re: project grim reaper
cheers for the comments
jordy - they were a bit or a pain to get right but not that difficult tbh i just used 90' angle alluminium to bolt to the seat then lined up the holes to the corsa b seat subframes and drilled the holes and bolted them, took a couple of attempts but got there in the end
nath - cheers dude have had mixed reactions about the wing and im still undecided whether to keep it or not! the arches are just universal JDM arches which i cut down as they were a bit to wide lol
pricer - cheers mate yea i do like to be different lol and your not the only one who isnt that keen on it lol
