so ive put everything back on now, driveshafts, hubs, oil cooler etc the other day and all i needed to do was put battery in and do the wiring before starting it up but coz of my 2.5" boost pipes i couldnt fit the orginal header tank in its orginal place so moved it across slightly which then ment i couldnt fit the battery so i missed out starting it the other day.

i went and got a corsa c header tank, which i hope will fit in behind the boost pipe in the picture above giving me space to put the battery in its place then i can start her up, also had my new bonnet resprayed and drivers wing that the resprayer sold me as i needed one after i bent the old one out of shape which only cost £150, which i fort was good as some of the filler on the eyebrows cracked or wasnt smooth from the guy that did it before they will be going on next week after it starts up as i hvent had time to go start it up this week and change the header tanks over

that bonnets been resprayed mate, and it wouldnt of matched your silver, as it was from the darker shade of grey gsi.

so little update.

bonnet & wing got delivered last thursday before my wkend away in blackpool so there sitting around waiting to be taken up to the garage but will do once i have all the engine sorted and dont need to go under it as i dont fancy scratching them up, went garage yesterday and fitted my new roose water pipe i needed which to me seemed shorter than the standard pipe but oh well, went to fit the corsa c header tank that i read up you could use in replacement for the orginal header tank but it just wouldnt fit so i had to for now get the corsa b header tank in place which is squeezed in between the boost pipe and battery but is not fixed to the rear wall as its sitting too low to mount to it this will only be temp til i can get it on road or get a alloy header tank to get custom brackets on it, im only worried if it moves slightly il get a air lock in the water system but i will bleed it before hand but just keep an eye on it. its now just 3/4 wires away only have 3 of them wired up for now as the electrics is my weakness like most people but a mate maybe coming round to do them and then its just the downpipe and exhaust but im going to try start it, im sure the residents of the flats above my garage will love to hear my car start up lol but that will be going on shortly as i need to get the downpipe cut down and in line with my centre section etc then it will be off to bodyshop for last part of paintwork :D sooooo close

So yesterday finally got a friend to help try jump the car for its first time, i ended up getting fuel coming thru, so fuel pump works, ignition live worked and heard the ecu turn on, but no spark so now i got to fiddle around with the ignition side, dont really want to but going to get some new parts like rotor arm, dizzy cap and leads for now and then work on looking at the coil/ amp after
