Cheers mate, should look good a bit lower, i never wanted to floor it cause i like being able to transport goods/people without having to worry about going over a small ramp and scraping the arse outa the car. 40mm should be perfect. Of course i agree, low looks good but its stupid when you cant driver over a ramp without having to get your other half out to direct you over in case you rip your bumper off cant understand why people do it. 40mm will still look good and still give plenty of room to drive around without worrying. If you lower it too much you tend to drive like a tool like the guy that was doing donuts outside my window at 1am on a sunday night and i have to get up at 6:50am for work, felt like running out with a brick and sticking through the back window. THERES A TIME AND A PLACE !

Agree 100% the theres no need to do stupid poo like this on public roads or built up areas, wharehouse car parks or retail carparks at night where your not bothering anyone. Dropping a car by 40mm is ideal for not only looking nice but great ride hight, im taking mine to the nurburgring this year, once there i will drop my ride from 40 to probobly 60ish because ragging a car at that speed too low equals driveshaft damage and i aint paying the damage fees on the track touching a wall can be £1000 fine lol..

Was looking over cars all day today, head is melted and not one bit wiser as to what to do.
That mazda 2, has got a CAT-D write off. i understand this is mainly minor or panel damage. how bad to you think the damage would be on a 2009 Mazda2 with 16,000 miles on the engine. guys looking £4500 for it. There could be a chance the cars twisted, or after i buy it perhaps il just keep running into problems.

The car didnt start as it was siting idle for a good 5/6 months So battery is probably flat. i just dont wana buy it then run into a mass of problems cause of any damage its had.

Not going to buy the Mazda any more after puting some serious thought into it. so the car search continues.

Does look ok tbf but damage repairs are not the way forward for me lol, could get a desent sierra for that price too. How i'd love a sierra lol

GF was driving the corsa to her new job this morning, i had to lend her it until we get the 2nd car bought.
Just happens that it broke down while driving suddenly. she had to get a push onto the footpath. when she tried to start the car she said it wasn't turning on (dont know if it was trying to turn over as if it was dead battery, or if it just wouldn't start) after about 5 / 10 mins, she tried it again and it started up.

Has some oil could do with bit more probably, as its leaking i keep some in the boot.
Oil cap had white poo on it.
no strange smell from engine.
battery wires looked secure.
has over 1/2 tank of petrol

Air flow meter was replaced recently
Throttle body was replaced recently

What could cause this ?

Is it coil pack braking down under heat?

I was talking it over with my mate, and we thought it was the Crankshaft sensor, he searched for "car broke down wont start until after 10mins"
It shows how when the car heats up the crankshaft sensor fails and needs to cool down before car will start again.

This seems like it must be the problem if you factor in that im leaking oil due to the Crank oil seals ! perhaps its having a knock on effect on the sensor ! it seems logical to assume that at least. i really need to get this engine overhaul started ASAP like what DeanK done to his engine. I should be able to get an aftermarket on ebay think could be best to replace with a genuine part.

Yeah that does sound like it could be having a knock on effect then and only pennies to change.

^ This is the only genuine place i could find one online. Can you check that over and see what you think ? i guess i could allways try a Vauxhall Dealer to see if they have new genuine parts, but might end up paying £30+. All the other ones on ebay i think are aftermarket or dont fit my 1.2 16v X12XE.
At the end of the day tho, im gona need to get them oil seals replaced, and prob best to get new radiator sorted out to make sure theres no overheating issues. that will have to wait till end of Feb tho cause im buying them APEX springs at £80 this month. If there was some money left over from the loan we're taking out for the new car, i could use some to buy the parts i need to do the overhaul. Jan has been a very frustrating car month !! Grrrrr
