oil cooler is good as vaux fitted one as std so i guess it is needed.

as long as the cooling system is in good condition i see no reason for it to overheat

right this morning, despite being freezing
i made my catch tank fit the car, neatly,

Image

will need a breather filter aswell, it has a drain too thats routed to where the bumper will be
also toruqed up the driveshaft, will possibly do the other side later,

after pissing around with various ideas on the alternator belt catching the bracket

i have filed down the edge of the bracket a few mm, then spaced it away from the block a few mm, and it seems to have worked.

the belt is mega close when fitted, i may put a shorter belt on but it has about 3mm of clearence and is tight

todays jobs, finally found and modded fabricated enough pipes and bits of steel pipe etc with the correct step up and downs to sort the crankcase breather system properly around the inlet.
so many times ive seen this bodged so i did my best to do it properly

Image

then i fitted the exhaust, its not sitting right at all, so will need adjusting when im in a better mood

Image

and i rubbed down and slapped a coat of paint on the rear arb. then fitted it. "while it was wet as it started to rain, bolted it down and thats all i got done
