Post by jonesy9 »

hey guys :D
my sxi hesitates when accelerating and afta being still for short periods, when moving off it bogs down and does not want to accelerate :(
i have heard that it could be that i need a new oxygen sensor
i would like to be sure that it is definitely this before i purchase one because they are over 100pounds!
what else could it be or what are your suggestions because this is getting dangerous at roundabouts where my car doesnt move fast enuf! :(
help would be greatly appreciated! :D

Got same problem but with 1liter. Could be a number of things that causes that kind of behaviour.

Mass Air Flow Meter
Temp Sensor
Oxygen Sensor

I've replaced all of these in mine but now stuck with a car that struggles to start when warm and the engine warning light on all time.

Now the only thing it looking like is the ECU been silly.
