Hey people
Another ask of advice before i take action

Was wondering how hard it is to take the trim off the doors? Will alot of residue be left after? And what would be the best way to do it?
Also do you think it is worth doing as my car is black and so the trim doesnt overly stand out anyway
since my mate opened the door onto a lamppost the other night and the trim saved the door from denting i dont know what to do now
any help and suggestions very much appreciated

if you take ur trims off your left with holes that need to be filled if i were you id spray them black the same colour as your car looks well good mate especially if its the metailic black coz the trims are pooo and go grey if u back to black them its poo i want mine done silver at some point

aye mate they are a nusence havin to back to black them all the tym...althu not as often as arches ffs!
althu i do no that there will be no holes left underneath them if i remove them...found out from a diff site...all that will be left is glue like when debadgin boot althu im afraid of it leavin a shadow on the paint so myt jus leave it and invest in colour codin it at sum point

the trims leave that but they arches leave holes lol i no this from the hard way got bored pulled them off then had to glue them back on lol

lol no didint want the arches off...was just gona colour code them after time when i get a bitta money :D
althu im afraid of it turning out a differnet shade as its plastic...any ideas if this will happen

well go to the paint shop get your primer and gloss make sure u sand the surface and put say 3 layers of primer and 3 layes of gloss then lacker it

should be fine

i want to do mine once engine has been rebuilt
