Annoying Squeaking

Just bought a 93 Corsa B 1.5TD as a cheap runaround. Just happened to come with set of new TSW Black Ice Alloys and Yokohama tyres (worth £350 new, i.e what I paid for car with 1 year MOT).

Anyway, I fitted an alarm and had to take off plastic trim around steering wheel/ignition barrel to wire in starter motor immobiliser.

Put it all back together but steering wheel is rubbing against plastic around Multi-function Unit. The plastic appears to be fitted correctly but the squeaking persists and is doing my head in.

Has anyone had this problem? Any tips would be appreciated.

Thank you

just check that all the screws are tight. it could be a little thing like that, or that when you have put it back together, one little lug or clip isnt pushed in properly.

It's gonna be something small. If you want piece of mind, you wanna come in mine...there are more rattles, squeaks and rumbles than you can imagine. Yours will sound completely silent in comparison.

If all else fails, turn ya stereo up! :P
