welcome to the site.
I have the answer to your air filter question. I have a K&N Panel filter which i have up for sale at £20 delivered. You still get the noise but without the fuel or emissions concequences. I found it made an apt difference to the Std filter, and without the hassle of making a 57i kit fit properly.
With the bonnet...you will be very lucky to come across one but patience counts...and one will come up eventually.
u2u me with any questions...i hope you find the answers uou need within the site!

i wouldnt advise getting an adaptor so you can have two air filters, like you said it will drink the petrol.
one of the things an air induction kit does is make your engine suck harder, this isnt always a good thing, gettin ONE is ok, coz
1 they sound good
2 they make your engine work harder therefore it will go that little bit faster
get two air filters on a low cc engine and you'll probably just suffocate it and sufer from stallin all the time unless you mod it so there is more power anyway,
my suggestion would be to get a turbo if your sxi hasnt already and an intercooler just to be safe, coz chances are if the two inducion kit idea you have, works, your engine is gonna be very hot.
ps welcome, and what year is the reg on your sxi your gettin ?

depends where ur from, if you tell me ill find out where to get one cheap including fitting,
a turbo charger basically works on the pricipal the hegher the revs your engine is gettin the more air it pulls in,
when ur in a low rpm range a turbo wont do sweet FA, but when the revs are high and you got your foot to the floor at the right time it will kick in and start sucking in alot more air burning your petrol quicker and therefore creating whats known in the trade as a BOOST.
you get a turbo fitted and add 1 induction kit you got the recipe for a sweet soundin ride.
wit regards to the intercooler. as far as i know they go on yor turbo before your induction kit, thier purpose is to take the cold air you engine needs from outside rather than take it from the engine bay, whihh is generaally hot once you been driving for a while.
if your engine is sucking in cold air and doing so quickly and you have a good air to fuel ratio you can slightly increase your economy in some cases and always get a noticable power difference in the high gears and revs.
but always seek advice rom a mechanic or some-one experienced, what i have told you is just what i knowfrom research its always better to get a proper opinion 1st

wrong.
the inter cooler is there so that when the hot air from ur engine is sucked in, the intercooler which is usually outside the car cools the air so that ur turbo sucks in cooler air... this then alllows the turbo to suck in air which is extremely undence. this then creates a bigger explosion in your engine and you get lots more power!!
also if ur getting a turbo u need to change the engines internals and make them stronger which costs lots of $$$
