Dead Battery, now can't open doors!

Hi everyone this is my first post and I hope you can help me

My partners corsa had a dead battery, so I changed it but then when I put the key in drivers side or passengers side nothing happens!

I can open the boot and climb in.

The car starts fine now but I just can't open the doors from the inside or out.

I have checked the central locking fuse, I then disconnected the new battery left it for a while then tried again but no joy

It doesn't have buttons on the key so you have to put it in the lock, so at the moment if we want to use it its access via the boot only

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

u can get a thin peice of metal and put it down the window seal and hook it round the lock and pull it up from there

then take the door card off and have a gander for anything untoward :)
