Last winter I got frost buildup on the inside of my windscreen, just started again tonight. Does this mean there's a bad seal somewhere letting moisture into the car, or is it just something I have to live with?
It's much less than on the outside, but it's a bugger to scrape off as it takes time and just lands all over the dash/seats

Re: Frost
ouch ... check all your seals .. doors ,windows, sunroof ,(if applicable) .. time consuming but you probably will find a damaged seal and they are dead easy to replace 2

Re: Frost
you can get a moisture mate from halfords.
bout 3 quid
it sucks the moisture out of the air.
and it may be a simple case of you have got in the car wet and its come off your shoes and into the carpet

Re: Frost
my mate had this in his megane, he worked out it was a wet fleece behind his chair. took out the coat, eventually the car drys out and problem sorted.
try making sure nothing in the car is wet etc!
hope you get it sorted!!

Re: Frost
Thats a good shout. I had an old mini as my first car, one morning i had frost on the inside sh!t me pants, turnt out to be a rag i used to stop frost on the outside of the windscreen. The rag was wet and i had just thrown it behind my seat. Defo worth having a look to see if you have any damp items kicking about the carpetert07 wrote:my mate had this in his megane, he worked out it was a wet fleece behind his chair. took out the coat, eventually the car drys out and problem sorted.
