Hi
PPl im a noob so go easy on me plz
Just brought a v corsa 1.2 sxi 1999 16v
few things i would like to know, when i driving along and i accelerate then quickly let go of the accelerator my revs continue to go up for a slight while (litterally only a few seconds).. but i is annoying, when driving and i go to change gear i am off the accelerator then onto clutch and cause the revs are still climbing it causes it to rev really high (as if i still on the accelerator)... if i come off the accelerator wait a second or so then onto clutch it's fine but to me this isn't right... i've drove other cars and as soon as your off the accelerator the revs are dropping.. does my throttle cable need adjusting or something? anyone else had this problem?? or am i just poo at driving lol
Also have a gear problem every so often, not regular but sometime i can't get car into 1st clutch pedal flat to floor but car refuses to go into 1st any idea's....
And car is cam chain driven, how easy is it to adjust the tensioners or replace as i got a bit of a rattle i not sure but thinking it the chain..
Cheers peep
all help no matter what is greatly recieved

If people know their car needs serviced why don't they do this first? Can save a lot of money.
