hi guys, i know this may seem like a big sin but i thort i wud ask as its not me buying it
a mate of mine is wanting to buy a saxo vtr or a feista zetec s, was wondering what is quiker?
i know the vtr has 100bhp and the fez 103 bhp but still dont really know?

Too many factors involved... Driver ability, tyres, clutch condition, weather, suspension set-up, i could go on. I would go for the fiesta after 2nd, the zetec lacks torque, but has got the power to push on once within the proper rev-band

Also, i dont like saxo's...and the gearbox would probs poo its pants!

As mentioned there are many factors involved, but I would say the Fez is the quicker of the two.

if he wants a saxo tell him to get a vts. better car

but id buy the zs cus i prefer them to a saxo any day of the week

mate, the way to go is corsa redtop, but i can guarantee the vtr is quicker seen as being a lighter car and my mate smoking a zetec s in a vtr, but if u have no choice but a saxo then vts is the way to go, they are rapid rapid cars with alot of torque and decent top speed, ppl are even tuning them to beat tuned redtops nowadays

the same little power diffrence but i would say the zetec s is quicker i was racin one n all of a sudden it just took off like sum 1 ad stuck a rocket up its arse lol

personally, nowadays i think its all about 4 types of street cars that are stepping it up levels, the saxo vts, corsa redtop, 106 gti's and the polo's with vr6 transplant, seen as every1 is doing it nowadays. but im sure the vtr is quicker than the fiesta but u never know wat they have done so u know, hope u make up ur mind dude and gd luck

f**k Saxo's. I managed to outdo one down my local fast stretch of rural road, and i wasnt even tryin. So much for being 'the best handling small car'...pfft.

would have sounded so much better chrex if you would have said soon there will be a V8 terrorising the streets

i heard that it was the same gearbox in the 1.1 saxo as the vtr is this true?
and surely the gearbox will give up after a while of getting hammered!

Surely the 1.1 gearbox wouldnt be able to cope in a vtr. Wouldnt it have to be a lot stronger to withstand the extra power?

i might be getting a 205 gti 1.9 L if teh price is right

its got a rebuilt engine and has sat for 8 yrs only doing 600 miles on it!!
