silly idea ..i fell for the same thing .. the description to what it does all makes complete logical sense...YET ...when i put it n it f**k up my fueling my revs didnt know weather they were coming or going ... dont do the chip thing ....k&n iduction kit ..always free's up a few horses ...if you want a nice sound gofor a full sportex system ..you can get them for your car for about £140 ..or the back box for £70 ....err if you want good performance ..make sure everything is in good nik ....do oil ..n all ya filters nd bit of fuel treatment.check ya belts etc .....then you could opt for some fast road cams ..not chep but it'll open up your power band 10 fold !!!

if you want to unlock a few horses get your engine rebuilt with new crank new pistons new cams (lightweight) and new lifters

mines at about 90 ish now

it only cost me mam n dad 1200

oh c'mon dan ..be real.. we have someone coming on here asking how to make his 1.2 faster...and talking of mod chips and back boxes ....general consensous ....he don't hav much knowledge about making his car faster (no offence geez) :) ...i don't think many people have £1200 to can out on a 1.2 rebuild !!!!!! i mean .. from what matey boy is saying looks as if he wants power for less...and for £1200 ....rebuild a redtop lol ......get me geez get me ?!!!!!lol :D

see if u had the 1.4 with injector ral u could cahnge the injectors ffor a set of 1.6 i done that to my accent bk in the day now i got my little 1.2 corsa doing 112mph (NOT down hill on flat) change yr coil pack for the 1.4i version works betta and put a nova 1.3 carb on it it bolts on no hassle

quickest way to make it faster is rev it harder!

as always with these sort of posts most bang for buck would be a engine conversion

or somthing i would like to try on a small engine'd car....... is a nitrous kit
and i know alot of you are now going to say "you will just blow your engine up etc etc etc"
and no you can setup a nitrous system on ANY car ANY engine size.... aslong as its done properly

2 litre red tops are over rated, heavy and sluggish,
if ur gonna change ur engine, get a 1.6...then go scrappers n find a small turbo, then make it fit, you will blow a redtop,
otherwise, keep ur back box + k & n, get a thicker pipe, n have a straight through exhaust, then clean your egr valve, check your timing and service the thing.
