Going to get some Calibra leather seats, my corsa is a '97 1.2 8v Vegas, it's 3 door.
Probably from scrapyard or websites like this one for hopefully around £30-£50 in good condition.

Can you get cally seats to suit a 3dr? So I can have more than 1 passenger?
Also if anybody's done this before & can post useful information, thanks.

Picking up some good condition seats, front & rear, tomorrow, also comes with the Calibra door cards, back & front...bit of a drive though, 100 odd miles, going to take out the subwoofer & rear seats out my car to hopefully fit it all in my little corsa. About the door cards...can I modify these in any way to make my interior look any better? or is there any leather trim or anything I can get in my corsa without hiring a professional to get out his sewing kit?

Cheers :wiggle:

what you would have to do is get the leather take your doorcards off measure them cut out a stensill cut to size and glue the middle bit and you could staple or tack the edges make sure everything is tyt tho :)

ok cheers

Drove all the way to North Yorkshire yesterday to pick up some nice black calibra leathers. So, I know the subframe bolts are 13mm and I thought I could get them off with a spanner but I'm gonna be needing a socket/ratchet set. Where can I get a torx key that will fit so I can replace the subframes?

Thanks very much! Will post finished result

am I supposed to remove the subframe with the seat attached? I've been trying to get the seat off without the subframe and I have 3 bolts off but the last one is so awkward.

how do i remove the subframes? I've removed the right-hand side one at the back of the passenger seat. The one on the left back of that is completely tight. I did it one way, it made a horrible threading noise as it was tight and I was going the wrong way. Done it the other way as far as possible and again it's stuck...? This is turning out a disaster.

Any help guys pls?

I've turned one of the star-bolt as far as I could one way and I heard a shreading noise so I assumed I was doing this the wrong way. I turned it the other way and it just eventually came to a complete stop...even when I was hitting my star-key socket with a hammer! (hammers pwn)

so...going to give it another go today.
PS: does anybody know how to remove that piece of plastic, when you open the door, it's between the door and seat, covering the corsa sub-frame. I presume this is restricting me getting another star bolt out? I pulled the edges of this plastic up but the centre was pretty stuck. Cheers

OK, so my passenger corsa seat is out...
I tried to mount the calibra seat with subframe attached and I guess because the chassis is different it wasn't having it. It didn't even look remotely like it would fit. The calibra subframe mounting bits were bent and my corsa's were straight. So now I'm going to be changing the subframes over...fun

Ages. Got the corsa subframe onto calibra seat now, I've put the subframe over the front mounting hooks but it won't slide back so I can lock the seat down with my torx screws? Any suggestions? Cheers. :( This is a royal pain in the arse. lol, this is only 1/2 seats as well! lol
