Electric Wing Mirror Button replacement

Right guys, the buttony pad bit on my wing mirror controls has snapped off.. so im looking to replace the whole lil unit.
I can get it out... but am unsure about how to disconnect the cables etc..
ill post pics tomo of exactly what i want to do.. as its too dark...
but if anyone knows what i mean any advice would be greatly received

get a photo let us see the wires, usualy they ether plug in or clip in.
that said couldnt you just cut and re-solder the wires? after all the swich your refitting will be exactly the same.

i believe there is a plug in line which you can disconect to remove the switch. this is usually clipped to the door.
EDIT the one i have lying around defo has a plug a few inches down the wires.

oh yeh.. there is a little plug thing..
only prob is that its tucked tightly behind my door panel, so...
can anyone give me tips on taking it off?

i still havent had time to go and get a new one from scrappy lol...
but yeh could really do with some advice from anyone bout taking the door panel off

The door panel has screws around the side and the bottom of the door unscrew them dont forget to take of things tink the window winders (electric windows) and handle as they will be in the way. Then the panel should be loose it does have a few clips I think and then you should be able to get behind the door panel, disconnect the wires then pull the unit out from the top.

i had a crack at it, took all screws out and that got the door panel to become loose but i couldn't take the inner door handle off. I took the screw out at the bottom actually on the handle but didn't no how to get the unit off. Does it just pull off?

Yeah should just pull out and then take the cable off the back of it.
