does anyone know how many bulbs are in the center console and what type they are? all mine have gone and its no fun trying to see what your heaters are set to at 4am in the dark

If you are going into a motor factors to buy new bulbs they will know what size they are but unfortunately probably not how many there are. They are only about 40p ea.

there are 3 in the centre console m8 and u need to be asking for indicator and panel bulbs RW286 12v 1.2w capless ive jus replaced mine and the packet woz in the bin nxt to me.

just out of intrest is there a fuse for the center pannel? coz my rear screen bulbs gone and is theres supposed to be something that lights up in the ash tray/ lighter compartment as theres no lights in there either

in my car none of the heater lights light up, and also the rear windscreen indicator bulb isnt workin on the switch, i didnt think there was any bulbs there, they aint been workin since i got the car! lol

how easy is it 2 do?

i know it aint hard to get the centre console out, i did it when i was spraying my dash, u gotta bend the vent things down and theres 4 screws i think, not to sure though, i\'ll find the camera and take the pics out of my haynes manual so you can look at it , check in the tutorials section, will put a link up in a bit

they aint the same m8....there are three (1 for each control knob)there isnt a light in my ashtray....as far as i know there should be a fuse for the centre console lights but im not sure but there definately is one for the rear heated screen...

There is one for the ashtray. You have to remove the ashtray to replace it.

just replaced the bulbs today and why didnt anyone tell me it was fiddlyer than a foodle bird?
you have to undo the 4 screws to remove the center console, remove the dials on the front, undo another 2 screws to get access to the bulbs, try and get the little bulbs out and then do it all in reverse rembering the order everything goes back together

Was it worth it? and y is it that so many people have had there bulbs go. Not just one but all of them.

must be a common fault m8.the 2 side ones went on mine but the other one i got from a scrappy all 3 had gone.lol
