My exhaust is proper doing my head-in! :x

It's blowing like i said, so sounds like a chav heap (You know the hairdryer nova's that fly about)

So it's worth just getting it fixed? (How much will it cost?) Or should i just buy a whole new exhaust? I'm clue-less so help please!

Also my car kinda revs its self? :? Then it'll stall?, Il post pics because i'm confusing myself

Your car revs its self then stalls.... my diagnosis is it is haunted!

Na that is a random one.... get it on a error code reader that should tell ya, either that or go to ya local vauxhall garage and get a Vaux mech to have a listen (shouldnt charge you for just using his ears & if he tries to just run him down!)

About the exhaust, your going to have 2 get under the car mate, if there is a hole and its small enough (no bigger that like a 50p) you could probably use exhaust gum, then some exhaust wrap and then jubalee clip both ends of the repair tight.

If no hole i'd imagine there is something loose, check all the connections on the exhaust from manifold to backbox.

Sounds fun that little job lol, f**k it still better than the speedo cable i have been putting off replacing for the last 8 months lol

If the car is revving its selt then it needs t go on tech 2 ( vauxhall diagnostics machine) it will more than likely be to do with the airflow meter.

Replacing the exhaust is a much better option in the long run not that expensive

You really need to get the cars rear axle on jacks and have a proper nosy. If it's blowing it's not doing the car any good, personally if the exhaust is getting on I'd replace it rather than attempt to fix it with tape/putty. I don't know if you've replaced a backbox before on a corsa but it's very easy, just the rubber mounts are in good order, get a new backbox and clamp and it's pretty self explanatory, normally the hard bit is getting the crabby old one off!

Hehe yeah, it does depend on the condition of the old one though, lying on your back under a car with an angle grinder is not fun lol
