Ok two queries here:

Firstly my 1.0 12v is running low compression 52 on two cylinders and 20 on another. It only starts off a tow rope and then smokes badly (blue). Would anyone agree its piston rings? If you squirt some oil into the cylinder with low compression it goes up to 52 . . .

Secondly does anyone know where I can get a 1.0 engine ??

Put a new engine in mate.

id say the rings or head gasket has gone, either rebuild or replace, good time for an engine upgrade

Engines like that are for the old grans shopping car really but for the first time drivers that need cheap insurance there perfect.

would also explane low compression, as the cylnders are leaking
not a cheap job im afraid, as said by eveyone else maybe worth getting new engine which may be a good time to upgrade it to a bigger one anyway!
