lowering springs??

can i lower my car just by fitting lowerin springs? or do i have to change the whole lot?

yes u can lower your car just by fitting lowering springs. personally i would change shocks at the same time or just fit coilovers but it is fine to just fit springs. :D

hi mate ebay is ur best bet for springs but i got a full coil over kit front and back
for bout 150 i beleive and they are quality, so up to you

You could fit just springs but in the long run you'll spend just as much if not more than if you bought full kit or coilovers.

Reason for this is the lowered springs aren't matched to the shocks so the damping on the shocks is triggererd more. This basically nackers your shocks very quickly and you'll find you'll be replacing shocks(dampers) pretty often.

If you go for the full kit/coilovers you get both springs and dampers that are matched.

Don't go for chopping your own springs. Very dodgy.
