Are my rear lights legal???? :s

i have just ordered a set of clear/white rear lights...but iv just realised-they might not even be legal :( does anyone have any idea??

pleassee help.. :( :(

they are exactly same as these https://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/pro ... 321&page=1

i have a feeling im gonna need coloured bulbs? if this is the case..any1 know where i can get some cheap?

(hopefully when they come-they will have coloured bulbs fitted)

thank fook for that :) i found out they do come with coloured bulbs as well :) iv seen a pic of a white corsa with em on-they look the mutts nutts :)

check the item you brought for a E marking it should be E3 or E4 i think if it is its ok, halfords do coloured bulbs cheap if u use a trade card. i got orange indicator bulbs for about 60p for 2 from them

ah i dnt no then soz, jus put em on they shudnt pull u for them unless u dnt have coloured bulbs

yeh should be fine,someone said something about coz they have no reflectors they had to put red reflectors on there bumper-im sure i can put hup with that lol

can anybody tell me if these are 1 road legal.2 will pass the M.O.T they are e marked but as the above post said they have no reflectors in.do you have to put them on the bumper to make the lamps road legal,and to pass the test.

They are legal just not MOT standard, they will fail if on the car for mot, they do not have reflectors, if you added some refletors say on the bootlid or the bumper then it would pass, its gayer than aids when you have do that, makes your car looks like its got arse grapes lol :lol:

i dont mind puttin small reflectors on the bumper...but someone must know what kind of reflectors i need? would like normal bicycles ones do? lol or maybe just some like red reflective tape?

is there a website that tells u all the legalities etc?

i would go with tape if its legal :? or could you stick them on the mudflaps 8)

yeh u can get a roll of red reflective safety tape in halfords for £4 :) not sure if it would be legal on the mudflaps but its a good idea...iv read alot of people just put the red reflective tape on there lights..? :?

i may do that-in the place where the reflectors are on standard lights..or just put 2 small strips on the bumper just underneath the lights.:)
