Hi Everyone
I hope through everyone's knowledge here to be able to answer a question for me.
My 99 corsa 1.2 sxi is a bit poorly at the moment and im sure its the ecu that has died. How easy is it t replace this unit or the whole engine? I've been told the keys are coded to each individual ecu and so you need the keys from the donor car for this to work, is this correct?
Thanks in advance for all your help.
Cheers
Iain.

What makes you think you need to replace you ECU? what problems are you having?
It's rare for an ECU to go faulty (be the cause of the problem).

If I was you I would get a vauxhall specilist to put tech 2 on the car to see what fault codes the car has not go straight in and replace the ecu and if you do replace the ecu you can program the original key to the ecu using tech 2.
Ecu''s dont fail easily but there is always a posibility.
