hi, im in need of some serious help, i have a 93 gsi pre ecotech and im having trouble starting it, the alarm was going off at 3 in the morning once battery had died where it had been standing still, i ripped it out threw it into a bucket of water and since refitting it wont start i had it started once when taking it for its mot but when i got there would not restart thee aa diagnosed fuel pump, replaced it no luck replaced fuel pressure regulator no luck ripped out immobiliser no luck, does anyone have any idea on what it could be its done 91000 miles had an engine rebuild 1000 miles ago was fine then just when i took it off the road for a few months im at my wits end with it and would love to get it back on the road any help and advice would be welcomed

right ok had another look at it today ripped apart the fuel lines etc and looks as though its not pushing fuel through the lines im thinking it may be a relay but does anyone have any idea where im getting really annoyed i would like this car back on the road checked all plugs, leads etc good spark from all 4 im really at my wits end please help

my fuel pump relay is behind the battery tray, and they can also be next to ur washer bottle mate
