So my CD/Radio/MP3 player finall arrived and I tried to fit it..Emphasis on TRIED..

I removed the Grundig Car 200 standard.
Disconnected the wires and it all came out lovely.
Fitted the new cage, that went in lovely as well.
Came to fitting the actual radio itself and we had some problems:
The loom in my corsa is a 3-Plug socket, to my suprise...
Rather than just the 2 like this for example: http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_Stereo_fitt ... 2-04-4.jpg

So I put in the PC2-4-04 to both the radio and the loom.
I got power and the radio seemed to respond when the engine was turned on, but then just went back to a blank display that wouldn't even turn off...

What I found interesting is that the third socket was wired so god knows what's going on.

Any ideas guys? Or does anyone know the adaptor I need to fit from a 2 socket to a 3 socket loom?

your h/u seems to be getting power then?
could be ether faulty unit or you have some wires crossed,

on the loom you got with the stereo it should have 2 wires on one red one yellow,
on vauxhalls you have to cross them over to red to yellow and yellow to red
you usualy find they have a block connnector so you can swap em easly.

try that :)
