Hi I have a 1 litre Corsa and at the minute it sounds a bit like a pussy cat when its running lol. I was wondering what could make my car sound a bit more Lion King than domestic cat lol. Would a muffler tip do the trick or would I have to get a whole new exhaust?
Thanx

hello mate, cheap option, get a decent backbox, get a K&N air filter and drill your airbox.
Expensive option, get a full system exhaust.
As its just a one litre, if i were you i would just get a half decent backbox (off here, ebay etc), then get a K&N air filter, and drill the airbox. That way you will get a deeper rumble when you drive, and a nice air sucking sound when you accelerate

At the moment I think a lil back box and induction kit sounds like the best option. Don't wanna turn heads for the wrong reason, know what I mean? I've just ordered some Xenon Light Bulbs from Ebay, very bright with a hint of blue of course keeping in coordination with my colour scheme

I have got a nice sound by not drilling the airbox, but just removing that useless bit of tubing on the inside of the airbox to increase airflow, and a pipercross panel filter on a 1.4 16v, dont know if this is of any help to you

Dont get an induction kit, just get a decent panel filter, and put it in the standard air box (undrilled) thats what i did, and it sounded mint.
With regards to the 'useless tube' in the air box. Simply open the top of air box, take out the air filter and you will see a tube under the filter, simply remove this.
EDIT
The reason i have said not to get an induction kit is because the corsa engine gets very hot, therefore with an induction kit with a cone filter say, you will suck it alot of hot air, which will make your car run lumpy, the best air for your engine is cold air. Therefore, if you use the standard airbox with a performance panel filter, you will suck air in through the grill, into the box.
