sorry for a silly question - ive never wired up new speakers before, and im sure you know the standard speakers arent up to much. i want to put some speakers in the back somewhere, (not parcel Shelf) and im wondering how to go about wiring it up, where it wires to etc.. also, can i use any speakers, as powerful as i want ?
hope someone can help.

You can use any speakers, best using coaxials rather than components in the back, they are much simpler to wire up. Most people use 6x9's and put them in their parcel shelf, but you said you didnt want to do that. There isnt really much space in the back of a corsa to put speakers anywhere else. There is a grille that speakers are meant to be in, but i dont think there is a lot of room. you may be able to squeeze a 4" set of speakers in. As for wiring, i wired mine in from the back of the head unit and ran the speaker cable under the door sills but apparently there are some cables in the wiring loom for the lights already run that are underneath the taillight covers in the corner of the boot.

u could try takin out the rear cards and fitting 6.5" coaxials with custom surrounds....if u did two in each card close together...u could fibreglass into one unit and make that into an arm bolster for passengers in the back? i would say use like 200 -300watt speakers if 6.5"....can get pretty good sounding ones that are reasonably shallow and would intrude to much on rear seat space. Pretty ambitious idea u got planned there

i've not read bout it tbh...but it probably been done..if i could think it up of the top my head in seconds then of course other people can think it too lol. But yeah...would be good mate...put one one high pass and one low pass (like a bass horn) and then it would be high clarity and bassy for the passengers.
