FITTING MY MUDFLAPS TMOZ-need tips!!
right...just want some final help on fitting my mudflaps as im hoping to do them tomorrow, they are the big rally style ones...supposedly just go straight on with self tapping screws which came with em...
so if anyone has done this or has seen it done..just need to kno best places to put the screws etc..and any problems i might come across, will i get any problems from it being close to the exhaust on the n/s rear one...
any tips no matter how small will be good.
cheers.

I think you might have to chop a little out to get round the exhaust if there BIG rally style. Use a large cup/bowl and a stanley knife to get a good clean cut, not hacked with a chainsaw. Pics??

Did you get any photos whole you were fitting them, just thinking if might be worth doing a tutorial, as i know a few people in the past have had problems fitting that style of mudflapdanthemann wrote:they are on now..chek my project log.

Re: FITTING MY MUDFLAPS TMOZ-need tips!!
nah i didnt...but i could do a tutorial if anyone wants...fairly straight forward really..coz its just self tappin screws...just a case of takin the wheels off one at a time-and finding places u can put the screws securely..and making sure u work out where they have to go before u jack the car up to take the wheel off.
coz i didnt do it right first time and when i put the wheel back on and took it back down off the jack it was way too high up.
but ye like i said-if the need arises for a tutorial il happily make one..and can take pics of my front and back ones to show where i put the screws
